Required reading for fans-Like visiting the station!
I never picked up a copy of this wonderous guide when it was published. There were a few mistakes I made last decade, not buying this book was one of them.

So amazingly written you actually believe the tech exists!
While I am a long time Star Trek fan, I tend to stay away from books such as this one because I just see it as another way for Paramount to get into our pocket books.

Nicely done, but with some flaws
First off, this book is anything but a disappointment. It is a packed with information on the series and its fictional technology from the station’s basic layout to things like…

    Good but..
Its a good book. Not as complete as I had hoped, but it does have a lot of information in it. A computer version would be a lot more useful.

A superb book for a superb series
I think this book summarizes the soul of this show. To the ones who love technical stuff it is great! To others who love the show, it is a souvenir every trekker must have.

    Speak Technobabble In a Week
This was a great tech. manual. I was left with no further questions. The pullouts were nice and good looking. There was an informative section on the Defiant.

    A really good book
The DS9 manual is far better than the TNG version. The foldouts are really good, but the the information gets a little unrealistic in the Starship sections.

    This Was Great!
I loved this! It has detailed diagrams and information on Deep Space 9, and has plenty of information on the U.S.S. Defiant.
